Job Information

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to become an integral part of our team! The Operations Supervisor will oversee the activities, performance, and schedule of the assigned operating team.

Locations: Chula Vista, CA

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week); Monday-Friday.

Compensation: $25 per hour

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Monitor team call pipeline and understand any gaps
  • Manage team’s attendance reporting.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Document employee and any team issues
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in operations, ensuring department deadlines are met.
  • Pro-actively Informs departments, relevant management, and other stakeholders of operational delays and inefficiencies and provides solutions for improvement and/or resolution.
  • Creates and manages Standard Operating Procedures for assigned Team, as requested.
  • Works with Operations / Homeroom Manager and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for continued success for the department’s Key Performance Indicators
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively work with a team and report information to all levels in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to work on-site Monday-Friday.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of Supervisory and/or management experience, preferred.
  • Previous experience in operations or other related fields, preferred.
  • Experience working with Customer Services Teams is a plus.
